We really need to donate to this guys. :)

If you hate Michael Moore and his film "Bowling for Columbine" for its twisted spin on America, support this film which exposes just how twisted Michael Moore is.

i must express my astonishment that THR posters are up in arms about one country being slandered based on lies, misleding statistics and hysteria - i thought it was de rigeur to do that here.

We don't slander - we simply quote your media. You couldn't possibly be saying that they are as inaccurate as ours could you?

I always believe what I read in the newspapers. If you can't trust the media who can you trust?

"Porky Gets Porked"

Kinda has a nice ring to it.............

old fuff,

that would be the legions of posters that make statements that are wrong (either through ignorance, or, more recently, through fabrication) - and I have been saying you people should judge the media at all times, and not just when they go against you, for ages.

Back to the Moore documentary . . . .

Has this guy produced films in the past? Is he any good? Taking on Moore requires some real talent.

I mean film-making skills. Moore has plenty of film making experience and an eye for satire, whatever else we may think of him.

The film making skills necessary to take on Michael Moore were evident in the trailer. So, if the guy who's making the movie is the one who cut the trailer together (And produced the footage) he's as good as Michael Moore is (or probably better. Columbine was extremely poorly edited.)

Seriously.

Whether he can get the content, get the interviews, and get a cohesive story out of it, is another question. Having gotten Penn on film, I think he'll do good getting interviews, even if he never does interview Moore.

I don't know the guy from adam, but I have studied film some and I'd say based on the trailer, he's got the talent to produce a quality product on a low budget. For a documentary, the risk is whether he'll get enough entertaining stuff on film, and I think he's plowing a very fertile field--- Moore has a lot of people who he's misquoted who would be happy to correct the errors, and Moore has been so pompus that the public is ready to see him taken down a notch.

I think this film has good prospects if it can get enough budget, or if he can control costs enough to get everything shot (Which should be easy since he's shooting on video... biggest expense is likely travel.)

btw does this mean y'all will be funding a new film exposing FOX as being guilty of "How to talk out of the wrong end using nothing but emotional drivel and leaving out the facts"

Fox is biased - so is everyone else one way or another. We get BBC in the states too, and they're no shining example of objectivity. So we deal with it like intelligent consumers of information.

Back to Moore (again, sigh):

Moore was able to get his film into theaters because he's already a popular guy in those circles. I think there's a major hurdle to be overcome in generating enough publicity for this documentary. People are likely to say: "oh it's just someone bashing him because they don't like his politics".

Sorry, but Moore is not a good film maker. Did you watch 'Bowling For Columbine?'

It seriously looked like it had been edited by a bunch of Jolt-drinking chimpanzees with ADHD.

'Roger and Me' is only slightly less poorly made. The biggest asset Moore has is that he has gobs of charisma, and pulls off a really good job portraying himself as just an every-day beer-drinking shlub.

"btw does this mean y'all will be funding a new film exposing FOX as being guilty of 'How to talk out of the wrong end using nothing but emotional drivel and leaving out the facts'"

Just wondering. Perhaps I don't watch Fox News Channel as often as you do so if you wouldn't mind telling me what they've done to qualify your statement?

I've seen "Roger and Me" and although it had it's moments, it was poorly done IMO as far as the cinematography was concerned. As far as the vilification of the CEO of GM I immediately knew that Micheal Moore hadn't a clue as to how business in the corporate world worked nor did he understand the ramifications of leaving lower producing facilities in place to be funded by larger producing facilities. I guess it's a good thing he's made it big and can afford accountants to take care of these things for him.

As to bias? There isn't a person alive on the face of this planet that is not biased in some way but that shouldn't stop them from seeking the truth (the real truth and not the one that the BBC makes up as it goes along ;) If one can defend ones position as true and do an effective job of it then I say go for it regardless of what side one is on. Sadly I see those claiming people such as myself as being closed minded are themselves closed minded.

Take care Ag. Always a pleasure.

Given enough time, he'll trip over himself. I would especially love it if some Afro-American academian tore him up.

Moore thinks that all the Black's problems are caused by the White men that create a environment of poverty and crime. Bascially he said it's our fault and resonsiblity to help them. What does he think Affirmative Action and welfare are? He is so Liberal, he's gone stupid. Is that any oxymoron?
