Which one for daily CCW carry and why?

I voted for the USPc 9. Let's see...More trigger options (from cocked & locked, DA/SA to DAO), no finger grooves :barf: , ambi-mag release, it has the exact same feel as my Expert 45, has an external safety, and I shoot it better than the Glock :cool:

I used to have the USP/C 9mm now its a G23 (same as the G19 just different caliber).

Whether you prefer the USP or a Glock is a personal thing. But the G19/23 feels more compact and just works better for me in that size range.

take a peek at a steyr m9 whish is similar size of glock 19 which can be had in $300-$400 range tennifer finish and good austrian quality.

if not interested go for glock 19. you can get a external safety for glocks nearly all models. cost $85 for it and can also get a jig to install it or have a gunsmith install it.

VERY different pistols....

Glock: Single-action only--kinda, no external safeties (ok the safe-action thing but you know what I mean)

HK: DA/SA, can be carried cocked & locked.

The main difference is do you want to pull trigger go bang, or do you want something with a dingus on the frame? I liked the dingus because I shot it enough to sweep it off, every time and I liked the idea of cocked and locked tupperware. But 10-ring shoots his with the DA pull on the first shot. If that were the case I'd send it in for the LEM modification and get rid of the decocker. I see guys at IDPA matches that get their USPs and forget to click the safety off. Main thing is, if you're not going to use the safety, will it be a liability for you? If so, I'd lean on the Glock.

If you want the HK but want a pull trigger go bang type of action, send it in for the LEM which costs, $96 I hear.

Never shot a compact USP, but the full size ones are killers. So Ill vote Hk. :evil:

My current guns are 1911s and HiPowers, so I can function just fine with a dingus on the frame. :p

Haven't made up my mind one way or the other on the trigger. That's one advantage of the HK. It goes both ways. ;)

Hello! Tough choice, as both are excellent firearms. If
all else were equal, and cost was a major factor,

Havent shot the HK yet but have had the G19 for a few years now and I love it.

15 rounds of Black Hills 124 gr +P at 430 lbs of energy with another 15 rounder riding shotgun. Comforting feeling for sure.

Carry it most of the time when its tee shirt weather. Which is most of the time in Tucson.

Oh, and it loves to ride in a Comp-Tac Undercover Pro IWB holster.

OK, Glock will have to do ;) Reliable, accurate, & easy to maintain, clean, and repair. Also tends to have more rounds for the size of the pistol. HK's are nice, but give me the Glock.

I already have one of those. I was thinking of adding either the Glock or the HK and needed help deciding.
