Outers Nito Solvent?

Can this general bore cleaner also be safely used to clean out the action, magazine well, etc of pistols?

On another note, I've got some Outers Crud Buster degreaser. It says on the can that this softens up plastic debris in shotgun barrels. Does this mean it is not safe to use near plastic parts like pistol grips, magazine followers and other plastic parts inside guns?

Your comments would be much appreciated.

Outers can safely be used to clean the action, magazine well and any other parts of the pistol. I would definitely remove any grips be they wood or plastic before using it. If it can soften plastic shotshell debris, then it can harm plastic grips or the finish on wood ones just as easily. Grip removal is usually quick and painless and it allows you on most pistols to access the area behind the grips which usually needs a good cleaning too.
