Hi,
Anyone know if the Walther P99 is good for big hands and fingers? Will the trigger guard rub against my fingers?
Thanks!

When my dad wanted a .40 Auto pistol, he was trying to decide between the P99 and the Glock 22. The more open (larger) trigger guard of the P99 worked better for my dad's fingers. Also, the P99 comes with three backstraps, each of a different size. The medium one is installed from the factory, and generally fits most people. Also included are a smaller and larger one. While I am sure that the P99 will accommodate your hands and fingers, it's best to at least fondle one before you buy.

I have rather large hands and my P99 with the medium or even large strap fits me like a glove. As lunde stated though, you really should try one out before you buy.

I have big hands with long fingers and I use the large backstrap. It fits just great. I agree with trying first, it is a must.:neener:

I love my P99 - and I have big hands too. The adjustable backstrap really makes this pistol great for people of all sizes.

My trigger finger rubs on the guard but it is not a big-hands thing, just how I hold the trigger. I'd be more concerned about fit if you had small hands. But here's another vote for "you gotta handle one before you buy."
