Subject: USA Today poll – If you’ve not already voted in this poll, please do so now before it closes. Then, pass it on.

USA TODAY POLL -- This gives you the right to make your opinion heard. It takes 5 seconds - It is still a live link.
Our new Attorney General has already said firearm restriction is one of his major issues.

This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today. It will only take a few seconds of your time. Then pass the link on to all the pro gun folks you know. Hopefully these results will be published later this month.. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme Court accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals to bear arms.

First - vote on this one. Second - send it to other folks and ask them to VOTE! - then we will see if the results get published. Vote in the USA Today poll - click on the link below.

The Question is: Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms? Vote here: Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha, 96%? If only this poll was an accurate representation of America's opinion. Can the poll place trace the majority of their votes back to this link and declare the poll invalid?

2.4 million votes! I think this is an accurate representation of U.S. public opinion.

This poll is from Nov 2007. Why vote on it now?

smithy, yes a poll like that, or ANY internet site can see where you followed the link from.

It's called 'trackback'

you sidestep it by copying the link, going to a nondescript website (google is excellent, as would amazon.com or something)

then you paste the link in your browser bar and hit enter.

now the trackback won't work as it isn't a link AND some more sophisticated ways of looking at where traffic comes (looking at the most recent cookie in your file, for example) from will see nothing suspicous.
