Gunsmith humor...

Gunsmiths tend to be an odd lot; cranky, and with unusual senses of humor.

The 'smith at my shop was relating a droll tale to me of his school daze yesterday that was too funny not to share. Seems that, towards the end of their course, an ATF inspector was brought in to deliver a presentation on the Rocks and Shoals of their future careers; mostly consisting of which AK and AR parts were verboten for them to possess, stubby sears, hammers and whatnot. There were handouts passed around, and at the end of his lecture, the agent looked around the auditorium and asked if there were any questions. Immediately a hand went up in the back of the room. The agent called on the guy, who asked "Uh, yeah, are these drawings to scale?"

:D

You'd have to be either dumb or brave to say something like that to an F-Trooper. I guess he was unfamiliar with that wonderful, all-purpose charge "conspiracy."
