Looking for a recipe for reloading with "Enforcer" pistol powder which I believe is made by Montana Powder Co?

I have:

CCI small pistol primers
Winchester 180 grain FMJ truncated cone bullets
Good lawman brass

and a pound of this enforcer powder...

Cant find a recipe for how many grains to use - not looking to make any 'hot' rounds, just something that shoots nice out of my Glock 22RTF in 40S&W.

Suggestions, links or directions on how many grains powder to use would be helpful

Enforcer is made by Ramshot. www.ramshot.com
They do not list any loads for the 40 S&W using that powder. It is probably a little slow for the .40.

It is Magnum revolver / .22 Hornet powder.

Accurate does show loads with AA #9 in the .40, and Enforcer is very similar. It may not be the best selection, but it should work.

Enforcer is definitely not the best choice for that.

I've used Enforcer in my .40 for years,BUT my handgun has a fully supported chamber, and from your Glock barrel ( NOT fully-supported) you could have a nasty Ka-Boom !! (Important ! and...I'm sure part of the reason this data is no longer available). You'll need to get a different barrel or just use the more common powders. I'd go for the barrel, that way you can shoot lead reloads and use up ypur powder !

I might add that out of my 5 inch barrel the original data produced some impressive fps,mid-level loads produced 1380 fps with Hornady 155 XTP's and it was all pressure tested ! The downside...muzzle blast and really not suitable for all .40 SW firearms

Anyhow....DO NOT use this powder in your Glock. It is a "magnum powder" and as such has a pressure curve to match.

And...one of the other forums has a ton of data for good 40 loads....http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showforum=73

Thanks guys I figured it out.

I found a good recipe for the enforcer powder I will use for .357 mag

I ended up going with Alliant Unique and went just a touch below the minimum load at 6.4 and loaded 100 rounds with 6.2 of unique.

Havent been to the range, and will probably chrony these rounds too..
Looked up some glock disaster videos that were result of poorly loaded rounds fired out of unsupported chamber.... scary footage.
