Help with Sig P220

I lost two of the four screws that hold the grips on my P220 sometime in the past week. So I went to the gun store and got some replacement screws. The nice employee tells me that this is not uncommon in the Sig's and that the screws have a tendency to back out. Not only this, but he also said that it is real easy to strip the threads in the frame if you tighten the screws too much. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if so, is there anything I can do to keep the screws from backing out so easily????

Thanks

Blue Lock-Tight.

There is no reason to be taking them out all the time anyway.

When it does need to be done, the Blue Lock-Tight will still allow them to be removed fairly easily.

Make sure you also did not loose the serrated washers under the grip screws. If the washer isn't there the screw will be more likely to back out- and it will stick past the frame long enough that it will lock the mag into the frame. AMHIK!

double check your washers/ you're missing at least 1- possibly all 4.
