You guys got it at the shop? I might just have to stop by and take a peek at it.

Neat! What cartridge?

How's it rigged? Interrupted thread, and latch similar to the Browning .22 semi-auto?

Art its full thread, this one is in 30-06. I cant really discuss the mechanism just yet, its a protoype and they have just a hair more tinkering.

There will be more info in a few days...there WILL be 2 barrel sets :)

LBG, the gun leaves for shows on Tues..

This would be an appropriate place for that "drooling smiley" we've been asking for.

Hm. Been wanting a suppressed bolt-action .45-70 with fast enough rifling to stabilize really heavy bullets for a while...

Got a genuine 1873 Winchester. Have to know what you're doing to load, fire and extract with consistency. Truly a joy to fire.

Yep that one needs to be hard chromed to prevent corrosion from drool...:D

Wild,

I know I heavily butted heads with you over your "Ultimate Bear Defense Gun" concept over on TFL, but I have to say you have completely redeemed yourself.

THIS gun, I can see a use for.

Where do I sign up for one.

I had to stop in and take a peak at this rifle. This rifle is amazing. Plus 2 bbls in any caliber that is based on the '06. I wish I had the money:(

OK..in advance of the announcement..its gonna be $699 for the conversion on your rifle with a matte Blue finish. High grades (like the pic) are $400 extra.

Extra barrel set up is $999..(06/270/25-06/338-06 etc only) or 30-40 on the 405...

Very nicely executed and a good Idea. You mean to tell me my grade 2 3006 Browning is $1099? :)

Yeah fitting the take down parts without marring the receiver is really a pain in the...you know what..

By the way, I forgot about this, if you are into Hi Grade Take downs, about 3 years ago one (and only one!) was made in 348 on a Browning Hi Grade 71, its for sale by Great Northern Guns in Anch
