[Abominable No-Man]

Well, we had to go shopping, and at our local Wal-Mart, I ran across a 22LR
rifle/scope package deal.

It is a Savage Mark II bolt action .22. Ten-round detachable mag, 4x BSA scope, Uncle Mike's sling swivels and a nylon web sling, and 500 rounds of Winchester XPert .22 36 grain hollow point.

All for 130$.

Was looking at it for the loooongest time, being in the market for a new .22 rifle. My wife, God bless her, found me playing with it. She got fed up waiting for me and finally said "If you like it that much then get it!"

Well, it was a pretty good deal, I thought. So I did.

I'm happy. Ahhh, the simple joy of a new .22................

I have a Mark II BV that I really like. It's quite accurate. The trigger needs help though. Rifle Basix makes a replacement if you want to consider it.

Yep, I noticed the trigger right away. It wiggles quite a bit from side to side and it's a bit gritty. Do you have a website for rifle basix?

I don't know about one for Rifle Basix but you can check them out at Brownells and Grafs. Grafs was cheaper but Brownells has a much better website.
