Is it common practice to sell a flashlight with no batteries ??

I finally broke down and bought a $90 tactical light from fenixgear.com

So I get it today, pull it out of the package and there is 3 small empty spots where 3 CR123 batteries should be......See pic,it is obvious what the spots are for.

I call and the guy says we do not sell batteries with the lights.....:scrutiny:

So I ask then why in the FACTORY PACKAGING there is 3 spots for 3 batteries and he says dunno and nobody can explain why there is places for said batteries and no batteries, called fenix in china and they put batteries in there...

So now I cough up more $$ for batteries or waste more $$$ sending it back and losing the original shipping $$ as well....

I guess unless they advertised that it came with batteries, you're stuck. That said, I have a Fenix (different model) and I have been very happy with it. Amazing amount of light in a small package.

Image resizing is courteous.

If you can't do it yourself with the Gimp (http://www.gimp.org), ImageShack (http://imageshack.us) can.

Weird. I have a LD10 and a PD30 from PTS, and none of them had slot for batteries.
