Get your updates and patches here (http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp)

A plethora of security patches were issued by Micro$oft today. Yall might want to get it checked out, as they are supposed to clean up holes in the code that let people in thru emails (carefully crafted ones), or by gaining access and running malicious scripts or programs. THey could even take control over it while it is connected to the internet.

*Yes mods, I know this will be locked. Just thinking of and doing it for "The Children" here on THR.:D You never know who might need a gentle nudge to get their system secure. An ounce of prevention...

Please make a float for a day or so if you think it warrants it.

Thanks,

If it's Thursday it must be Microsoft Patch Day. A few weeks ago I finished manually patching the RPC vulnerability on the last few machines in my company the automatic update missed. Three hours later they announced a new one. *whimper*

And to keep it sort-of on topic, yeah, I've been tempted to "patch" a few machines with my .357.
