Thanks to Airsoft Extreme / Andrew Ho, I have this very realistic 1911 in which to practice quick draw in my backyard.

It runs on propane or green gas.

I practice with a T4 for my Glock, and a Umarex 1911 for my 1911.

Both are .177.

HOLY COW!!! A MEUSOC PISTOL!!!

Always joked around that they were like God... Most of us know he exists, but none of us has ever actually seen him. The Bible tells us about God, and the poster on the SOTG compound tells us about the MEUSOC 1911... otherwise we live by faith :D.

BTW, if you're agnostic or athiest, no harm no foul. I'm just using a comparison. That's a sweet looking functional toy man. I'd train with it :)

i'm currently using a KJW Sig 226 in presentation and mag change practice. it's nice when i can get out of the house...works well for getting birds off the roof too

I also use an airsoft gun, WWII GI 1911 model though, for practice. Realistic enough, but mine seems to be a bit cheaper than yours and has an orange band arounds its snout. :)

Only real difference for handling purposes is that it's a bit lighter and the weight is distributed in the grip, but neat to see the slide move on these things. Now if I could find all the itty-bitty white balls that this thing has shot out, I'd be happy.

A MEUSOC pistol built off a Springfield PRO with forward serrations, and no magwell?

BTW, the barrel should be polished up front. :D

Is the slide plastic? I have a TM G17 and green gas was more than it could handle. The front of the slide cracked. I've had no problems with all metal 1911's from WE tech. The plastic TM probably lasted between 1000 and 2000 rounds before it locked open with a cracked slide.

The KWA slide is metal. On my 1911, the slide and frame have been upgraded to metal, but they are normally plastic.
