....have looked high and low for it and really need to replace it, called H&K a few times over the past few weeks, they said they would send me one out, but so far no joy..anyone got an ideas on where to get one?
The weapon is "unlocked", but would like to "lock" it for safety reasons even while it is in the safe...
Thanks gang!

I'd call back and ask for a tracking number.... :o
(I have to ask, why lock it in the safe, just curious)

I have several of them that I'll never use (what Skunk asked); if you can't get one, PM me and I'll give you one of mine.

If it's unloaded & locked up in your safe, why activate the internal lock? I agree, call HK again & get a tracking #

Why would you want the "safety" lock engaged in the safe? If you're that concerned just take the barrel out and take it with you.

Cars need keys, not guns...

Ya, I figure the less that system is used, the less it can break...

I replaced the lanyard loop insert with a NON-locking insert. Problem solved.
I don't do lawyer/democrat keys on guns.

Just for curiosity's sake, what does the USPc key look like?
My Steyr M9 has an internal lock that, even though they give you a key for it, can be operated with a bent paper clip.
The internal lock of my Bersa Thunder on the other hand is a little more difficult. The key looks like a very tiny hex driver. I think you'd be hard pressed to operate the lock without the key.
My solution: don't lock them :D. There's no need, really.

Bersa Thunder
Not sure about the Thunder's but the one I got with the Mini45 actually looks pretty cool. Has a little Argentinian flag attached to it. Don't used it, but still looks cool.

Okay, gang...
Skunk..I keep that one locked in safe with additional lock, because there are kiddies old enough around to get into the safe(they don't live here, but damsn they act like they do!!) My bedside and HD pistol is a 1911 with..oh look, new to me Wilson ten rounders(Thanks Skunk)!! Plus the guy who wants to buy it wants the key...
Tarpley..I wholeheartedly agree!
Called H&K yesterday after posting..they're making it right.
Others, thanks for the offer of sending me one, I really do appreciate the kindness
