:cuss:I noticed today that the transfer bar rattles when I shake the Revolver from side to side today. When I cock it it still rattles a little.
Is it mine or does anybody else have one that rattles

I can't tell, because the cartridges rattle in the chambers when I shake it. But, I never shake it anyway so I don't care.

Some rattle is natural. Take the unloaded gun and shake it to estimate how much movement you have, and in which direction. Generally a little fore-and-aft is acceptable, side-to-side less so (because it can bind when you're trying to shoot.)
If in doubt, contact Ruger.

Mine has the rattle too. Never has caused a problem in operation.
It does make me think that "there is a ball bearing bouncing around in there somewhere"

Every SP101 I have handled has a little rattle.

My four SP-101s sound like a set of maracas when I shake them.
