Yeah, those are the worst feelings.

I saw a NIB Steyr AUG (still had the tag fastened to the trigger guard and everything...) in a gunshop last year for $2300. At the time, I didn't know what they were worth and decided to "do a bit more research" before purchasing it. I hopped on the computer at work and came to find out that they easily clear $3500+ when NIB like that. There must have been tire tracks all the way from my office back to the shop, but by the time I got there it was already gone. :(

I saw a brand new FEG PJK-9HP at the gunshow a couple weeks ago. Came with two 13 rounders. Nice light trigger, small ring hammer, took it apart, perfect as new, the guy said it was new, correct Browning barrel locking lug. Price? $220. I put it down and decided I better go look at the rest of the tables first. When I came back 15/20 minutes later IT WAS GONE!!! :cuss:

I could have kicked myself in the a$$!
