New Mil-surps

Ok, I have this Rifle country board to thank for my empty wallet. In the past 7 days I have gotten a 1945 Enfield Jungle Carbine, a VZ-24 and a MD24/52c. The JC is nice, worked on it and now it looks pretty. Just a little pitting on mag well. The VZ-24 is basicaly no blue left but made in 1938 and in great shape besides the fact that it is silver. I actually think it looks cool. Qualitywise it is awesome. The MD 24/52 is in GREAT shape. Got it from SOG. 99% blue, GREAT stock. I didn't pay the handpick on these and they are all better than I hoped for. The last VZ 24 I ordered was counterbored. These with the bullet in the muzzle show at lease 1/8th of an inch. The 24/52 more than that. I'll take them to the range tomorrow and see how they do. Oh if anyone cares the 24/52 had a Springfield sporters tag on the triggerguard.

I'm more of a handgun guy but once I got my C&R, I bought a bunch of rifles! Not all at once but in less that a year I bought way more than I would ever "need". Rifles are so cheap with the C&R and there are some really nice ones to be snapped up before they are all gone.
It is a great time to have a C&R.:) Oh, yeah, I'm broke as well.
