Gunshop going away

Just went to the local gunshop today as they are having a "Retirement Sale" and everything is 20% off. I swore off this shop after they royally screwed my best friend, but decided a good deal on their way out was a good idea. The first thing I did was look at the tag on a Glock I had been eyeing. It was $689. I thought it okay, maybe the price has gone up since I last looked. A used keltec p-11 was $400! I couldn't believe it!! The guy had marked his merchandise up by near 40% before posting the 20% "discount". Then he had the nerve to ponder why hewasn't selling anything!!!
Sheesh

Sounds similar to a dealer here who has everything marked as "Rare" or "collectable". yeah sure! I've yet to stop & look at his items at a show in over 3 yrs.

This is exactly why most gun shops are going out of business! The whole industry seems to attract greedy morons. Don't even get me started on gun show shysters.

My local dealer is the same way, he marks up his guns, just before his yearly sale! I don't even like the guy, and he's family! I take my money elsewhere.
There is one small dealer about 50 miles from where I live, he has the absolute best prices on everything. I went down there a couple weeks ago, and dropped almost 400.00 bucks on powder and primers.:)
