I am new to this forum, but not new to shooting. I would like to get advice on what to use on a Kel Tec 2000 as far as sights. I like the idea of using a red dot for fast target aquisition but can't find any mounts that would work well. If there is one worthy out there to buy without trying to fabricate one for myself, and has actually been tested by someone here could you help direct me to the spot to buy one.
Thanks,

From their website it looks like they are using an old style tip over scope mount. I have one on my Savage 99 30-30 lever gun. But they also use a modified forend. Well a rail on the forend would be the easiest to mount an optic. It would make folding the stock almost impossible. Or a side mounted rail with a 45 deg offset weaver rail. I was looking for something to shoot the steel challenge also. They suggested a Hi Point and I almost threw up. I was looking at a Mech Tech unit for a Glock. I totally forgot about the Kel Tech. I need a shotgun before I shoot their big match in NJ so I do not know if that will happen this year or not. It does sound like fun though.
