Ran across this 62 Pocket Navy (http://www.gunsamerica.com/940806040/Guns/Pistols/Colt-Replica/Colt_Signature_Series_1862_Pocket_Navy_Revolver_36_Cal.htm?wl=1#). Listed as miss matched parts. First time I have seen that on a new one.

I don't see anything that's mismatched, unless it's the short bullet rammer. Toward the end of production the company was in financial trouble, and needed to somehow get money using the parts they had on hand. At that time a number of revolvers were made using what I might call, "unusual combinations of components." I would say that given what it is the price is reasonable.

I guess the trigger guard's serial number, being three digits higher than the frame and barrel, makes it a mis-match.

It's tempting at that price, but I have two of them now...I could sell one.

Hi MCB

"but I have two of them now...I could sell one."

Really? How much and which one?

Tony
