I recently bought a Webley MK VI that is missing the front sight. Not just the blade, but the entire barrel has been machined. I'm thinking of just having a half moon attached to the barrel, then filed to height. My question then is what is the best way to attach the sight? Brazing? Silver soldering? What matierial should it be?
