Plan to buy a NAA Pug. Not clear on the ammo though. Is WMR the same as 22 Mag. Told you it was a dumb question.

Walkalong is right.
And remember, there are NO dumb questions. Only dumb people. ;) - Just kidding, something my economics professor always used to say :D .

Not a dumb question, Yep they are the same.
Oh, there are three types of people, dumb ones, ignorant ones, and knowledgeable ones.
Dumb ones do not ask questions, ignorant ones ask questions to become knowledgeable ones.

It is unlikely you will ever encounter it, but there was a .22 WRF, not to be confused with the WMR.

gilfo,
You can also shoot the 22 mag bird shot in the Pug. Works good and NAA also recomends it.

You can also shoot .22 WRF in it.
Kind of like shooting .38 Special in a .357 Mag.

Believe it or not, Winchester still has .22 WRF listed in their catalog and I've seen it listed in a suppliers inventory recently.

Do stupid questions exist? Of course they do. But stupid questions are much easier to deal with than stupid problems.

Hey gilfo, there is NO SUCH THING as a dumb question. Dumb answer, ohhhh yeah, but not the question. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge. Easy fix; get the knowledge. How? By asking questions. BAM, problem solved. Stupidity however, is not recognizing the lack of knowledge or not recognizing the need to apply knowledge you already have. and as Ron White says, "YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID"!!!!!!!!!! :neener:

As I linked in post #8, both CCI & Winchester both still load .22 WRF.
I have an 1890 Winchester rifle chambered in it, and also shoot it in a .22 Mag convertable Colt SAA.

No question is a dumb question. The dumb question is the one never asked.

We LIVE for these kinds of questions. It makes us feel all warm and gooey inside that someone out there actually cares about this useless trivia we have filled our heads with.
NOT asking and just.....trying bullets to see what works and what doesn't would be stupid. BTW, you CANNOT shoot 22lr in a .22 mag revolver. The shall casings have a different diameter and they will at least split.
