Made 1973-74.
S&W will provide shipping information by letter, but there is a charge of (I think) $50. Check their web site.

you can find and buy the standard reference on Smith Wesson. It is the STANDARD CATALOG OF SMITH AND WESSON, 3rd edition, by Supica and Nahas. I just replaced my 2nd edition with this 3rd edition. The MSRP is 39.99 but I bought mine, new, for around $25 plus shipping on Amazon. It will give you practically all that is know about dates of manufacture plus tons of other information and glossy color photos on all SW guns and other products. My experience, by the way, is that gun show book dealers charge full cover price for gun books that are typically discounted a lot of the time on the internet, even considering shipping costs. So, check the internet for usually the best deals on new gun books and often the used ones also. Make sure and buy the 3rd edition.
