You could've knocked me over with a feather when I read the teaser on the front page of the local section in today's paper: "Shopping for a gun. Columnist decides the time has come to own a handgun."
Even remotely pro-gun articles are very rare in this particular corner of the state.
The column in today's Everett Herald (http://www.heraldnet.com/Stories/03/10/17/17572768.cfm)
It may not be much, but it made my day a little brighter. ;)

There is nothing more severe than deciding to take someone's life."
Letting them take yours perhaps?

Ruger Mk. I .22-caliber long-range semiautomatic pistol.
She needs to be careful, we might end up with a ban on those evil, long range sniper assault (.22lr) pistols:rolleyes:
