Decided I need one of these. Why? I don't know.
Anyhow, what are the differences between the standard and classic models? Been to Reeve's website, but his little charts didn't make the differences and options particularly clear to me.

I had ordered the standard but the dealer only had the classic .It's a very fine knife and the only difference that I know of is slight change in the handle . Where your fingers hold it the classic is smooth and the standard has a wavy surface. Go back to the website and compare the photos carefully. Either one you choose will be a very nice knife .

If you ask at bladeforums.com or knifeforums.com, you'll get plenty of answers.

Those who own them (not me) swear by them.

Personally, I put the Sebenzas into the same category as SureFire flashlights (I'm not talking about a light intended to be mounted on a gun, just something you'd hold in your hand). If you win the lottery, I think both would be great choices. But for normal use, I'd prefer to buy something that delivers 90 or 95% of the performance for 20% of the price. Maybe I'm just cheap.

I love my old "P-stamp" Sebenza. Carry it with me every day. I've used it for everything from cutting rope and branches to cutting birthday cake to sushi. There may be no more rugged and versatile folder that's still small enough to carry in your pocket on the planet. Wicked sharp, simple, rugged; it's a swell knife.
