Wouldn't it be nice (smart) if Ruger made this little shooter in .32 H&R? If they did, I do believe I'd buy one, just for the heck of it, even though I have absolutely no need or justification Just seems like it would be a grin, though I can't even justify that! I know, dream on. Ruger ain't going do do something that logical!

it would be a neat piece to own, i guess. but .357 (.38) and .327 are the popular items at the moment, and that's what's selling.

besides, an LCR in .327 mag could still shoot .32 H&R. wouldn't you want that instead?

Absolutely, as long as we're dreaming! I should have said that in the first place. Since the .327's and their "feed" is so hard to come by, kind of slipped my mind, but definately the way to go! But, is the cylinder long enough? The LCR is sold only in .38 Sp. Indeed, it may not be long enough for the .32 H&R--don't know. If it could only be made as long as .32 S&W, I might probably loose interest.

ive heard the plan was to make the next LCR model in .327FedMag so in theory youll get your wish seeing as how the .327 will chamber and fire the H&R

but im sure all of this is based on the success of both the LCR and the .327 Fed Mag

I'd like to see an 8-shot .22RF version for a DA practice protégé / fishing snake gun.

Hello, I got to handle the LCR yesterday and my impression of it was that it wasn't that small. In fact it wasn't smaller than any of the S&W or Tauras 5 shot snuppies. Now it may be lighter as I didn't weigh it, but it didn't seem any lighter than the Air-lite alloy type revolvers. In all, it didn't make me want to rush out and buy one. Just my 2 cents, LM.

It is really not designed to be smaller or lighter than competing revolvers, just a new "take" on them. I personally would not wish it to be - they kick hard enough already.

Moosehunt it was stated in Guns and Ammo magazine in the issue that featured the LCR on the cover again i say this is completely tentative on the success of the firearms AND the round so i wouldnt hold my breath plus who knows gun companies change there minds so often they may stray away from another LCR alltogether or make one that will handle .357 next who knows

i too didnt feel too much difference in the Taurii or the S&W models but i like ruger and got it because i didnt own a 5 shot CCW revolver yet mine shoots nicely (well as good as i can make it while getting used to a 13.5oz gun) it was more personal preference than outstanding differences that made me choose ruger
all in all it fits nicely in my pocket with a don hume pocket holster and does the job i needed it to do

Thank you Dimis. I believe what I hear (I damn sure don't buy) from Guns & Ammo Mag just a skosh more than what I hear from Osama Obama. (That does not refer to you--only the magazine). Hope you're right, though! Purpose/Function? No idea. Just a cute little toy, I guess. Might be handy to stuff in my pocket to address buzz worms while I'm out working.

Just do it like any other aluminum framed magnum- put a steel insert on the bottom side of the top strap.

I don't have an issue of weight with my 731 UL in 32 H&R Magnum.

I like rcmodel's thoughts of an 8/9 shot .22 LR for the boat, and practice.

I don't need another .38 snubbie but a .22 would be sweet if it came in around $400-$450.
