Prez Obama has nominated Sonia Sotomayor for a Supreme Court Judge.
In January of 2009 she voted againest the Second Ammendment saying that the Second Ammendment doesn't apply to the States.

How do you intend to prevent the clear majority in the Senate from approving her?

Who are the pivotal members of the Senate that pressure should be applied to if you want to achieve the goal of having the Senate reject the nomination?

in terms of change, short term you are right no change but long term it is setting up an anti-2a judge the the supreme court for a VERY LONG time assuming she stays in good health.
