Pretty cool, My friends and I have toyed with the idea of a Redneck Pinnate shooting a shotgun instead of trying to hit it with a stick. The reality of the logistics of doing such a thing safely (even with blanks as these guys were obviously using) has held us back. But we already have the "hillbilly" buck teeth props :) so the idea is not totally dead.

Golf balls are a hoot. They make an audible "zinnnnngggg" sound and rocket out so far and fast, it's hard to see them. I've seen Patrick Flannigan do it in one of his shows.

How fast is a well-driven golf ball traveling for the first 50 yards or so?

On a side note, I damn near hit a few clays throwing rocks the other day. In retrospect, that was pretty redneck. :)

I've had this planned (golf balls as skeet) for a few months now.

Other things I've used as skeet? Energy drinks (a representative of the company got 20 cases of them per month) and tennis balls.

The tennis ball one is pretty fun...get one person with a .22 to shoot underneath it and pop it in the air, and the other person shoots at it with the shotgun.
