I was trying my new Kahr PM9 in different positions around my waist tonight and I found that about 2:30 seemed to be a very good spot. Now I just need to find a holster to accommodate it. How would you classify this cant and do you know of any holsters that might be a good match? Thanks.

Looks about like this one to me:

It allows some cant adjustment by the wearer to best fit their body.

Actually, most good holster makers have figured out the cant already, and you are unlikely to improve on it.

There is more too it then just what feels good when you draw.
Cant also plays a very big part in how well the holster conceals the gun under clothing.

I'd let the experts who designed the holster have their way on this one.

Just a comment here based on the training I received at Front Sight in Nevada. The instructors there recommend that the holster be without cant when worn on the hip. I carry my Sig 229 in a Fobus roto holster which allows setting the cant to suit.

The reasoning the instructors provided is that with a vertical draw, your pistol is closer to the "present" position" which has the muzzle pointing at the target. Drawing the pistol from the canted position, you need to rotate the muzzle forward to bring the muzzle to the present position pointing towards the target. I can see their point and I plan to experiment with it to see if it improves my handling. Currently, my Fobus roto paddle holster is set to a forward cant as in your photo. To me it helps in concealment.

Well it seems that carrying Mexican wore fine at 2:30 on the waste but tonight I picked up a simple Uncle Mikes IWB holster and as soon as I sat down, it jabbed me in the side so now I'm back to considering holsters to wear at 4:00 .

i carry my kahr pm40 in a fist k3 kydex holster which is actually made for a pm9 and have no problems at the 2:30-3:00 position with slight cant which i believe is what your going for. it sits low and does not pinch or jab me anywhere.so far it is the most comfortable and the thinnest iwb holster i have found.the crossbread minituck seems to be another popular choice but i have no experience with it.
