Watching now DC Sniper: 23 Days of Fear

Whatever the outcome of this particular "story", one thing is firm... they are showing Malvo as almost a mute, obeying everything Muhummad says.
This is being aired just a couple weeks or so when Malvo goes to trial in Chesapeake, VA. Muhummad's trial starts Monday in Virginia Beach - they just finished picking the jury today.
It sure looks like they are pushing the "subserviant child" drill, like he does not know what to do without Muhummad. News has it that Malvo's attorneys are going for "insanity".
This really needs airing now (not!). Methinks they (the film-makers, and the media) are trying to influence public opinion against the death penalty - which Virginia has, and is reported as why DoJ selected VA for the first trial(s).
We've got a passle of media relay vehicles sitting in the parking lot at Princess Anne Courthouse to cover Muhummad.

they added 150# to Moose
and dropped it from his wife
they really screwed the timeline on the last day
and left out the part where muhaamud requested the chief read that wacky "duck" phrase over the radio
the final scene at the high school football game was a complete fabrication

Hey, look on the bright side: they only used the name "Bushmaster" once.
This movie should have been aired on the Lifetime Movie Network. I suspect it wasn't because the actor playing Moose doesn't have sixpack abs.

Did they speculate at all on when it was Chief Moose knew with doubt the perps were NOT angry white guys running around in a white box van?
Did the show speculate on how many people died while Chief Moose had the nation chasing the angry white guys while he knew the true perps were something else?
No I am not obsessed.
But I do demand justice.

I haven't even watched it yet but I can answer your question:
OF COURSE NOT!
(anyone know if Chief Moo$e got paid for this move?)

Seems to me that I remember a "suit", FBI profiler, as pushing the "angry white male backwoods patriot" theory. Moose was pictured as the white hat among a bunch of grays.

Yea, I heard the same story.
I also heard the profilers were not the pro's but cracker barrel caliber.
So was Moose in charge of the investigation or not. Was he a useful fool for the FBI?
Someone knew LE was making the public chase snipes and people died because of it. I want those people brought to justice.
Edited to add: Your theory would have weight if Moose were NOT a PC advocate. Moose is PC right down to his pretty tulip covered underwear. He was in on it.

I deliberately skipped this one. I could see from the promo trailer
that it was more propaganda. Moose screwed up bigtime; the man has
problems. Hero? I don't think so.
