I like the digi camo parts but the lines make it look like its smoking.

Also, I'd get rid of that UTG rail if I was you. That stuff is built for airsoft guns and has a habit of breaking or melting on a real gun.

Really? I bought it at a gun shop. Figured it would be decent quality at worst.

Thanks guys.. i knew it wasnt going to be the usual AR i told the painter to give me some ghost skulls and digital cammo.. the rest was up to him. This is what i got.. i really like it.. its deff not a "in the field" ar but i never meant for it to be one.

I thought the same thing, in the kitchen and smoking.
I know you must have put some real time into that .

I think ARs are ugly as bull dogs and camo patterns make me want to hurl. However, I really like the artistic take on this gun. This may just be the first one of these I actually find aesthetically pleasing. The lines of the gun are really smoothed out by the work.

Two wooden rifle lovin thumbs up! (So take my feedback for what it is worth!)

I must say I am curious why you went with ACU camo. The Army tried replacing woodland BDU and desert DCU with a grey uniform that does ok in scrub brush and urban environments (and gravel pits) but that's about it, in my limited experience.

I never understood the ACU. Camo is supposed to match the environment you're in, there is really no such thing as general purpose camo.

The gun does look nice though!

a very interesting paint job...looks like an artist got of hold of your rifle and went to town. Apparently "Kid Hulk" approves, too.

Thanks for the replies guys. And thanks for the advice on the rail. I will have to do some more research on rails. I don't really care if its free float though as this is not a precision rifle.

looks good.

it does kinda look like smoke, i havent see that before.

ar15"s have the perfect finish to take paint and really hold it.

Nice job, i love custom work on guns!!!

UTG is made by leapers, it's a great rail for 1/4 the $$$! It is way better than the cheap stock plastic heat shields, its made of aluminum and works great for mounting handles and flash lights, however keep any buis, lasers, or optics off and away!

If you want a cheap way to mount a grip or light on your budget Ar15... Fine by me, you just have to know it's not a yhm... That's all

I showed your pictures to my wife to prove there are more people like me out there and all she could say was, "I like the Easy Bake Oven in the background".

Cool paint job dude!
