The fact that the anti-tobacco book 'The Runaway Jury' is now an anti-gun movie, OR, the fact that it did not receive a single bad review (at least not on Rotten Tomatoes) because it was anti-gun? :fire: :fire: :fire:

I'm not _horribly_ worried about it.

After all, Bowling for Columbine didn't exactly touch off a national firestorm of anti-gun bigotry and legislative infringement.

I think we've gotta give people credit for _some_ sense.

I am always suspicious though, that these movies tend to come out right before elections....:scrutiny: :scrutiny: :scrutiny:

How the hell did they get around the premise of the book?

The plot was to throw a jury to short sell tobacco stocks and make a huge profit.

You know i completely forgot about how they short-sold all the tobacco stocks. The whole idea behind the venture was primarily to make money. It pisses me off more that they butchered a pretty decent book than anything.
