looking for a better rear sight for the .22 bbl; any suggestions? I'm gonna replace the post in the front sight with a home made firesite; mount red tru glo shotgun site on a post & replace front post, using factory base.

But I need something better than the plastic factory rear sight; any suggestions; is there a reciever sight that I can mount, then remove the apeture when using the shotgun? I'll measure & call williams as the catalog I have doesn't list one specificly. thanks

I don't know buy I have the same problem. That plastic sight is a piece of junk. When you tighten it, it deforms. If you don't tighten it, it shoots loose. The barrel is drilled and tapped for a scope base. Maybe something could be done with those holes.

a guy on another site I had the question posted to said the WGRS T/C reciever sight will fit the bbl. & hole spacing; Midway has em for around $40;
Im gonna keep this gun even when my kids tire of it, as it's going in the trunk when they're done.
