Alright, I don't know if this has been done before or if it's in the right forum, but here it is:
Background
Me, being super cheap, but having a problem of my front sight disappearing in the sunlight, went looking for a solution. I looked for a way to make myself a good front sight hood cheaply and easily. I have found the solution.
What it is
A paper clip. Yes, a paper clip. Not like the wire ones, but the big, black clips, with the little shiny wire handles on them. The ones for the big documents. Just put a little electrical tape on them to protect the finish on your gun, and then clip them on to your barrel or front sight. Remove the shiny handles by squeezing them together and pulling them out. You now have a ghetto, yet functional front sight hood.
Why
It's cheap, and I don't know of any front sight hoods for sale for my Mossberg M44 US.
