Those Sharps Carbines may have been intended as aid to the Confederacy.When the war ended before delivery,they were sent to Nepal.There is no documentation of and English Sharps,so it does lead to speculaion...

yeah,even more so for me because of the possible Confederate connection...what's a Robinson Sharps worth nowadays?
