I might be able to start putting some gee gaws on my VZ-58, shown here at a reunion...

the forearm is the same as this one...

...and leaves the question - what sighting system? I don't have a HUGE bunch of money, and would like a holosight or red dot that is simple, rugged, lon lasting, and won't drive a hole through my budget - $100-150.

Can anyone tell my which one that is mounted there? I can't read it - bad eyes, had a nice holo on it when I looked through it at the show.

That sight looks like a Bushnell Holosight.

Perhaps you could try this if a demo is acceptable:

Maybe this for something small and lightweight, its similar to an Aimpoint Micro T-1

I run an EOtech myself on a AR-15 , but I have used the Trophy 1x32 also, it is a nice, well made sight. :)
