All good stuff until you reach the end where the investigator reaches the conclusion that a flare gun IS a firearm,when the BATFE has already ruled that they are not.Though his conclusion was flawed [they obviously were slanting their stats to get a conviction] the research was solid and thorough,most of which [disassembly of the rocket and flare gun] was interesting.

I agree. I would have liked to see some sort of penetration tests (may do one of my own).

The law they mention is (IIRC) is state or local law, so what BATF thinks may be moot. :(
