What are the pros/cons, size differences, easiest to conceal gun out of these 3?

Sig P245, USP45 Compact, or Glock 36

All have their advantages and disadvantages. I suspect the Glock and SIG are tied for size and ease of concealment; the Glock probably has a price advantage; etc. Personally, my order of choice would be:

1. SIG 245;

2. H&K USP compact;

3. G36.

This is not to knock the Glock (I own several of them), but because the G36 in particular doesn't fit my hand very well, and causes pain and suffering after a few magazines have been fired.

People can give you opinions all day long, but it doesn't mean a thing because what works for me or the Father might not work for you.

Fondle them lots at your gunshop and try to find a place to rent them and shoot them for yourself.

OK...never shot a P245 so....

USP45C: Cock & lock or DA/SA. Heck carried it uncocked and locked if you want to. 8 rds. Aggressive grip checkering, may be uncomfortable seated in a car for a long time with an untucked shirt. Pointy fingerrest or flat magazine basepad an option. If you wanna carry C&L train yourself to ALWAYS take the damn safety off!

Glock 36: Singlestack but still feels a little chunky. 6 (?) or 7 (?) rounds. Not sure about the basepad but seems to have less pointy edges and looks more rounded than the USP. Never carried one so can't comment on how they tuck away. Pull trigger go bang action.

P245: DA/SA, that's all I know about it. Decock only. Pull trigger go bang then stays on single action.

USP45 may be short on sight choices...you have novaks and maybe Heinies and defninitely Trijicons. Not sure about the Glock 36 and P245.

so, you need to pick one that 'feels' right for you hand, rent it and shoot them all...if possible.
Then makes your choice and pays your money. Get a good IWB and belt, buy a lot of ammo and learn it well.
Of the three, I like the SIG 245 best. Cause it fits me and I like the size. The Glock 36 would be next on my list, mainly because of size...though I'd have to have the grip redone for a better fit. Athe HK is nice, reliable, accurate, but not small enough for my Concealment tastes. But each has their own set of parameters to decide and choices to make. Whichever fis the hand and the wallet best.
You have narrowed it to three excellant ones in a proven cartridge...so you really cannot go wrong with any of them.

I think I might just get either the P220 45 ST for general gun, plus CCW, or a Walther P99.

Do these guns sound like they can work for CCW as well?

I'd go USPc 45. I much prefer a full length grip (I don't like shooting guns w/ my pinky hanging off), I like the 8+1 capacity of the USPc 45, the external safety/decock lever, the ambi-mag release & the trigger variety to the USPc.

I've shot the P245 and G-36. The P245 shoots as well as a P220. The P245 is about the size of a P228. The G-36 is smaller, lighter, and thinner. But, the recoil is increased and the muzzle flip is noticable. CCW only- get the G-36. CCW/Range/Home Defense- get the Sig. Note- the Grip on the P245 is pretty short. Try it before you buy it.

I carry a SIG 220ST as my daily carry gun and it is somewhat heavy. But a good holster and a good belt make carrying it a cinch. Good shooting;)

Just curious, you originally asked about compact 45's but decided on a fullsize...why?

you have to deside all those variables for yourself.

all 3 guns are top of the line and will fit and or appeal to each differently.

try them out for yourself where they can be rented.

i chose the g36, the sig 245 was real close but 100.00 bucks more. either will do in a pinch. h/k? dont have much experience with them.
