Finn M28-30 questions....

So one of my buddies from highschool stopped by today with an old Mosin that he picked up for $80 back in the day. Low and behold, it is a 1938 28-30 in far better shape than mine pictured in the milsurp thread. My question is, how much are they going for these days? He's looking to find a decent .357 or .44 to replace it, and while I really want it I'd rather not part with a wheel gun.

TY, I'll probably end up taking some pictures when I get home from work in the morning and either offering it for trade here, or selling it for him.

"...rather not part with a wheel gun..." Easier to replace. I think I'd want some cash plus the revolver. Depends on what you have to trade and how badly you want the Finnish rifle. Lots of on-line info about the rifle, but not a whole lot of values. There is one on GunsAmerica. The guy wants $550 for it. Auction sites not being really good price indicators.

But already having a 28-30, I just can't see myself parting with something for it.
