If you'll go to the 'reviews', you'll see on the first line, where it says Pietta. Looking at some others, Pietta's mentioned more than once. Is it still Pietta? Don't know.

Made by Pietta, several members have them and reports are good. I have two Pietta NMA's, both are great revolvers.

I have the 8" inch version from Cabela's and it's been flawless.

They are most definitely Pietta's. Just bought 2 of these exact models with the 5.5" barrels. Although I've yet to even wipe the shipping oil from them, my initial impression is these are solidly made and quite well finished revolvers. They seem to made a slight bit "beefier" than my Uberti's, but I haven't put the calipers to the frames to compare. The pistol grip is definitely more hand filling as opposed to my Uberti's, and the trigger guard is a bit more forward also. They definitely spin better on my hand than my 8" barreled Uberti's, but that could be the uber slick oil they came bathed in too. I can hardly keep a grip on em!
All of this bodes well for the projects I purchased them for: Kirst gated .45 Long Colt conversions. Woot!
I definitely like them, and really wish I had bought one more! My daughter saw these and now she wants one . . .

I have one I bought 2 or 3 years ago. It's a Pietta, and a good shooter. The 5.5" barrel gives it a nice balance.

The price says it's a Pietta, the Uberti is closer to $300.

Yeah, but you gotta watch out for chipped teeth, a gashed chin, or bruised huevos when you twirl the big ones. Those 5.5 inchers make showing off your latest gun tricks for a future Wife v.2 candidate much safer for all your tender parts! And hers! :neener:

Well as far as "chipped teeth" go, watch your load, "bigger is not always better". And as to "tricks" that's something one does with "cards", not "firearms", always respect a "Firearm" as a "Firearm", treat it so and it will never "bite anyone" in an unintended manner.
I have a 11 year old daughter about 70, lbs dripping wet, yet she handles a, colt 1860, a Reme 1858, and a colt 1911, better than all the boys and most men I've met.
So much for my 2 cents,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ok maybe 4 cents.
