I have this rifle and just found out it was made in the 1920's. I was wondering where I could find out the value of such a gun. I shot 2 box's of Win ammo thru it @ 40bucks a box and it is very accurate and light recoil. I have dies and have a mould for it too. Any info on this including favorite loads and how strong this model is would be appreciated.
Thanks

Dollar value depends on originality and condition.
Blue Book says $500 for one with 80% blue remaining.
I would expect it to be a slow seller, it is not well known and not from any historical frontier or military application.

Strength? I don't know how it compares to, say, a Winchester '92 but it will certainly handle all the factory loads you care to pay for and reloads in the same power range.

SAAMI spec for the 32-20 WCF is 16,000 CUP now.

This is the data you will find published in most all modern reloading manuals, and is perfectly safe in your rifle.

Back in the day, there were 32-20 Hi-Speed loads that were much higher pressure, and your rifle was safe with them too.

Just watch out for some data aimed at the T/C Contender single-shot pistol in that caliber, as they may be very hot loads.

I have been reloading my 25-20 Rem 25 for 30 years and never a bit of a problem with book loads. Seems to like ball powder over stick for a given MV though.

Do you still have the rifle? Are you still interested in selling it? I like the 32-20 cartridge and would be interested in a pump in that round.

Thanks for the replies guys, Oren yes I still have it and am reloading for it now. It is an accurate little gun, matches my gallery 22 I am gonna hang on to this one. Its definitly better than 80% bluing and takes all the listed loads for what it is. Anybody have any favorite loads they want to pass on?
