Good news for the RKBA that Terry McAuliffe was defeated today in the Democratic primaries in Virginia today.

It appears that Virginia will have election for governor where BOTH candidates are pro-gun. Thoughts?

According to people who were opposed to his winning, he voted twice (once for the bill and once to override the veto) to allow concealed carry in bars, and he opposes a one-gun-a-month bill as well. Anti's are afraid of what he will do if he gets into office. I think that is a good sign of his 2A stance. Who is he running against so I can check them out. I need to start doing my homework :)

Then again, he did vote to require a vendor to do a background check at a gun show if the purchaser didn't have a ccw.

I hope if nothing else this will curtail at least a little of the outright Democrat bashing. There are a surprising number of Democrats who enjoy firearms and are pro-2A. And as much as some like to hate on Democrats, we/they are needed to help prevent any further AWB, and the outright hatred does nothing but alienate the pro-2A democrats and cause a divide between what would otherwise be a group with a common interest.
