Ok, looking for some last minute advice before purchasing a new scope to be mounted on my DSA SA-58.
I am looking for a variable (high) power, value priced, mil-dot scope with target knobs and adjustable objective. I have narrowed it down to 1, the Simmons 44 Mag 6.5-20X, number 801057. It has all the features I want, plus an illuminated reticle. From what I've read, these seem to be pretty good scopes, with all brass internals. I've got a Leupold 4.5-14X Tactical on another rifle, and it's a great scope, but I was hoping to get away with spending less.
The Simmons is $179 at SWFA.
Any thoughts?
