I searched, and found only this:

I ran across a Browning A-bolt Micro-Hunter .308 in a local pawnshop today, and I have a shotgun that I don't need that they're willing to take in on trade.

I'm interested...

It's like this one: http://www.impactguns.com/store/browning_abolt_micro_hunter_rifles.html , and in like-new condition.

I'm not educated on A-bolt vs. X-bolt, or really anything else about this rifle.

I like the compact size as a candidate for a ranch-rifle, and as a possible walk-about coyote-slayer...(?) ...and I'd like to own a .308, well, just because I don't own one. :D

Anybody got an opinion on the Browning Micro-Hunter .308 (or on my thought-process in general) that they'd be willing to share?

Thanks,
Les

this is a fabulous weapon; very well made to browning standards, super slick, and thick/solid bolt. If the money is right, you should do it, when you pick it up, it feels like it weighs nothing.

I like blued metal a lot.

And wood gives me wood too...

Who could argue with that?

I have an A-bolt in .243 an it is excellent all around. Beautiful wood, very nice fit/finish, smooth bolt throw and very accurate. The only complaint I've ever heard about the micro-hunter was the recoil is rather stout, but that's to be expected with an ultralight rifle in a caliber like 308.

I've got a micro hunter in .243 and I really like it. Perfect size for getting in and out of blinds on our lease. Very happy with it and I'd have no hesitation buying another. Go buy it... ( if the price is right that is )

the micro series are youth-sized. great guns if that's what you want. my petite wife shoots a micro lightning 20g O/U shotgun and I would love to find her a .308 or 7-08 micro A bolt.
