Brownnells the gunsmith supply people have a stainless steel wool THAT SELLS FOR UNDER $10 in FINE and MEDIUN GRADE that is used to buff up stainless guns, regular steelwool will buff in rustable particles of steel into the stainless. I have a buffing pad material that looks something like varying grades of plastic kitchen pot cleaners. When buffed in the right direction, slight imperfections can be cleaned up or blended in. I can't seem to find it in the BROWNNELL catalog, it may have come from WILSON. GOOD LUCK.

Now you know why my carry gun is bead-blasted.

Mine have no scratches...gots lots of "character" tho'...lots of memories associated with various "characteristics" on mine...
Ya know, I don't think I'd know how to shoot a gun without character...If I have, didn't stay that way long...
