what do you think the best O/U or single barrel trap gun is for around 2000? i was thinking BT-99 but that kinda narrows the potential for doubles trap...I want atleast 32" barrels. any suggestions?

For a new O/U I'd stick with Browning or Beretta in that price range.
Both are reliable and durable.

A good used one is not a bad option either.

well i was thinkin and i hardly ever shoot doubles trap and when i do i'll use my super x2 so i decided on the single barrel trap gun... i might be able to get a used beretta but maybe i'll just get a bt-99 w/adjustable comb.. hmmmmm

check out the browning XT TRAP at your local gun store, it an o/u and can be had in a 32" barrel, or get on the web and look up JAQUAS, they can fix you up..byw you cannt go wrong with the BT99. great shooters

You should be able to get a new BT-99 (without adj. comb) for $1050. Adj. comb is nice, but you are better off having it done aftermarket than with the Browning factory job.

I second the Browning XT Trap if it fits you well. I paid $1800.00 for mine and it has been well worth it.
