removing dan wesson cylinder

how do i go about removing the cylinder from a model 740, the chambers need to be polished and first i have to get the cylinder out so....

Dan Wesson's web site has a very nice verbal description of how to dis-assembly their revolvers. (and no it does not involve double charges of bullseye).
Look it up.
Is your gun new? Why not email Bob Serva or call the factory and ask them to polish the chambers? They fixed up my Razorback very nicely!

the info on the site tells nothing about removing the cylinder....

Remove the sideplate and then there is a little half moon clip on the end of the yoke you need to lift out. A magnet works well. The cylinder/yoke assembly will then slide forward.

It must have been on an older version of the site. I had printed a copy for my md-15 and it described the clip and how to pop it out.
Sorry I should have checked the site first.

I think a detent, spring, and screw would have made a lot more sense.
