What tools do you keep on hand for cane making?
I keep it simple, a small saw to cut the ends to size, The whittling knife of the hour :D (I change often ) , some sand paper, various stain, and polyurethane. Oh and plenty of rags.

Do you think the above specimen would benefit from some glue at the bottom where it seems to be less bound up? Or does it feel pretty sturdy?
