In my never-ending quest to drag race a Checker cab, I'd like to start loading .45 Super and/or .450 SMC so I have something to make my USP 45F break out in a sweat.
Anyone have recipies and/or sources for load data and components (bass)?
thanks,
LW

I think Joe (www.realguns.com) has some 45Super loads.
Try doing a google search as well.

AA#7 is THE .45 Super powder...
It gives the best velocity and accuracy (at that speed) of any powders I have tried.

Ditto on the AA#7 for .45 Super reloads. Brass can be had pretty inexpensively from Starline. Since Triton went belly-up, .450 SMC brass has never been available. Be sure you have strong mag springs, as the slide speed will be increased....sometimes enough to cause "slide-over" malfunctions.

I like Longshot, Power Pistol and HS6. AA#7, a couple of the VV line and others work fine. Longshot is my current favorite. I know lots of people run some 45 super in their USPs, but I would limit it.
