Probably should be in the "Trading Post" area. My question is why do you want to trade off the guns your grandfather gave you?

I didn't put it up for sales, I put it up more for information and just for discussion.

If your grandpa gave them to you --KEEP THEM-- you'll regret it later!

On the 1913's are those 1911's made in 1913 or 1903's ???

They aren't 1911's, they are very small. They almost fit in my palm, although I have a big palm haha.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess they are .25's heheh and are 1908's made in 1913!

Smith and Wesson .38 Special Revolver. I got this from a retired Chicago Police Officer. It came with the belt and the cuffs, I believe it was a police revolver.

1) I believe it's called a ".38 Double Action" and it's .38 S&W, not special, I think.

2) Grips are usually always available, and relatively cheap, on Ebay for those.

Is there a model or is that enough to know to get grips?

I don't know much about what it is on your breakover .38, but not too long ago I saw one identical to it in a pawnshop(in worse shape) priced at 399, it was .38sw

yes, that is the model name. "38 Double Action." Life was simpler back then. People called things what they were. There was no BS juvenile hype like "Spec Ops," "Desert Warrior," or "Pointman."

People probably won't know the name of the gun, so search things like "old revolver grips" or such. They are black and made of gutta-percha, a natural rubber, and I think have the S&W logo on them. I have seen quite a few pair on ebay when looking for other grips; I was surprised.

Wow, what a great collection. You are so lucky. Did your grandpa serve in WWII? I increased the picture size of the guns you say have Nazi markings but could not see them. I would think they would have very high value, especially to a WWII memorabilia collector.
